I remember the wave of calm and relaxing release of tension when I sat down
to bf my second who is now 30 years old.
It was in the baby day care house of the kibbutz -- I would come into bf
from my work in the communal dining room, take my baby son
and sit down in these low wide chairs they had home made especially for bf
moms.
My baby would start nursing and I remember that oceanic calm that washed
over me and this was in the middle of a real commotion of people -other
mothers, babies, and child care workers. I can't say for sure if I sighed
out loud or not. However one could definitely say that it was a real deep
body sign. I wish I could relax like that today on my own.
