We also had an "Advanced Breastfeeding" class that was very popular. It
covered everything about pumps and pumping, products, supply issues, scheduling,
sleeping through the night and growth spurts.
~~Andrea,
I would think that normal growth patterns would be in the basic class, as
well as supply issues, things people need to know to get off to a good start
with their babies. Those other issues do not seem like advanced breastfeeding
issues. In fact in a way they are not breastfeeding issues at all, they may be
considered by some moms who are in breastfeeding relationships. Still,
linking the word "advanced" with "pumps and pumping, products, scheduling, and
sleeping through the night" makes it seem like this is the normal place every
mother and baby goes in time. A more neutral title for these kinds of issue
might be "After the First Weeks/Months", and cover things like normal, healthy
sleep patterns, daytime and nighttime, dealing with separation from your baby"
etc.
Just my two cents,
Peace,
Judy
