Hello all,
I have permission to post. I'm looking for a lactation consultant that I can
recommend to a young first time mommy moving to Yakota AFB near Tokyo,
Japan. She has been diagnosed with inverted nipples by our on base women's
health practitioner who has a background in lactation. I have not personally
seen her nipples, but have talked to her on the phone. She would love to get
in touch with someone in Japan in order to have a smooth transition to
bf'ing once the baby is born in May. She is open to ideas that can be
applied right now, although she is travelling right now and will be settling
in, finding a house, etc for a little bit.
Thanks in advance,
Alysha Jones
MOM & breastfeeding support group leader on base at Lajes AFB, Portugal
