Hi all,
Having just had my own gall bladder out I can say, that if it is laparoscopy
then there are 3 small holes placed on the abdomen, the 4th thru the navel.
It is painful even tho' it is not one large incision, but I who has a high
tolerance for pain, was laid up about one week. But I could do nearly
everything if I wasn't in pain. I didn't take painkillers, despite the pain,
but I would recommend that a new mom who wants to feel more comfortable
while breastfeeding might want to consider it. It has been two weeks, now
and I am back on my mountain bike and feeling great!!
Hope this helps.
