One factor my daughter in law found essential was heating the milk to 98.6 -
when it was too cool, the baby (at first - later on, he was much less
picky) would not take it - and 98.6 feels pretty warm, so often sitters tend
to cool it down - but when it was warm enough the baby took it well.
Jeanette Panchula, BSW, RN, PHN, IBCLC - who never gave her own babies any
bottles - but has had to learn to bottle feed other people's babies!
