I know we all get asked this question often and I need to confirm what I thought I "knew." Do the uterine contractions from breastfeeding endanger a pregnancy's stability?
Today, I spoke with a mom on bedrest at 15 weeks because of partial placental abruption. She was told she must wean her toddler. This is an extreme example but it was my very strong impression that there was never a need to wean because BF causes uterine contractions which can disrupt a pregnancy. Right?
Thanks.
Jay
