Thank you for your comments. I had actually referred this mom to CST with
her first non nurser. She never really saw any changes.
I forgot to write, but both babies had what I describe as a pretty regular
palate. No posterior tongue tie, good tongue lift as well as in /out. The
suction was not great. What I would describe as weak. The finger could
slide in and out too easily.
The mom was against trying a nipple shield, as we had tried that with her
first and it was not successful. When I saw her, she had in her mind built
up that this one would happen NORMAL, not needing to use any accessories.
In addition, I am not sure what would be gained by a nipple shield with the
tube underneath, than a tube plain.
I find it fascinating what you mentioned about both growing in the same
uterus. I just could think of no reason why she should be having issues
with both. It is so sad.
I will gently recommend CST again.
