**Well pointed out. More and more, over the years, have I come to the
conclusion that much of the work we do as lc's and bf minded people, is
symptom fighting. Not that it isn't important, but if breastfeeding were a
normal thing, we would all learn how to do it from watching those around us
who are a few steps ahead of us, like with baking apple pie or deciding on
pocket money for the kids or how to announce birth or death of loved ones or
how to comfort a crying child... or walking or talking. We all learn by
imitating, but to do so, there have to be people visible who we can imitate.
Situations like the one at Denny's are not inviting to imitate, so it's a
huge problem how to turn that attitude around. I'm really amazed, I must
say, to hear about all these laws and courts occupying themselves with the
issues. No such thing here, in the Netherlands...
