**I don't think that is necessary. Morgan is strong enough to explain her
motivation to use this analogy and apart from that, Lactnet is also a
discussion forum. We should not be afraid to comment on each others ideas,
as long as the comments are founded and clear. Jaye did not say that
*Morgan* was over the top or that *Morgan* was ridiculous. Her analogy was
called that and some may feel so and some may agree and others may not.
That's fine; as long as we keep talking, we can build our own opinions, in
case we don't have one, yet. In my opinion, Lactnet is not meant to spread
an image of all of us constantly agreeing on every single issue. We don't.
Period. Being able to explain why you come to a certain stance is a very
valuable competency, one we should all practice, as rethoric excellency is a
sign of civilization and can go a very long way, as was demonstrated this
week... ;o) (My... how wonderful, to listen to someone who can really speech
and inspire!)
Warmly,
Marianne Vanderveen IBCLC, Netherlands (and still proud of being the best
initial candidate scorer in Dutch... ;-))
