I've been asked by the staff of a small (2 people) WIC agency:
"We are concerned that some mothers, in their effort to do the best for their
babies, are breastfeeding despite occasionally using meth or marijuana. In my
very small program (caseload of 350), we are trying to combat this issue
verbally. We would benefit from a low-literacy brochure on the topic.
'Are you aware of anything like this? We don’t want to re-invent the wheel,
nor do we have time with our small staff."
Does anyone have any resources for her? We were just communicating about
health education...
