As a nice anti-dote to how breastfeeding is usually portrayed, the BBC
ran a news item on Vit D deficiency today. From both the news clip on
the TV, and the article on the web pages, would not know there was
another way to feed a baby, as formula use was not mentioned at all. No
scurrilous comments about the rise in breastfeeding contributing to the
rise in rickets - rather a balanced piece highlighting changing
lifestyles. It also centred on mother taking the supplements!
I'm going to write in and compliment them, as good practice like this
needs praise. :-)
