Jeanette - I agree 100%!  So now my questions is this:  We have all the
handouts on the 'benefits' of breastmilk and the 'risks' of formula.  Is
there a handout or article that discusses just what you did?  How it is the
process not the product?  If so I'd love to have it.

 

I too get tired of trying to explain all the percentages and such to parents
and try to discuss, instead, the realities of breastfeeding - what actually
happens with it for mom and baby.  One of my favorite's that gets parents
all the time is the optimal brain growth and development when the baby
breastfeeds up till 21 months.they are floored.
