I would like anyone having helped a mother with an infant diagnosed with the
metabolic disorder Medium Chain acyl CoA Dehydrogenase "MCAD" to respond.
The baby (now five days old) is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
and the mom is pumping and bottlefeeding breastmilk. The infant is on a three
hour feeding schedule. The family has been referred to the Genetic Clinic at
the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
thank you,
