Morgan,

Here in the UK we have a resource for medication and breastfeeding
questions. This is the Drugs in Breastmilk Helpline run by BfN.

http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/drugline.html

As you will see from the webpage, this is run principally by one of our
breastfeeding supporters who is also a pharmacist, although she does have
support. If you (or any other breastfeeding support professional or
volunteer in the UK) wishes to ask about a situation, you can either email
via the website or phone.

In the case you describe it is a question not just of each individual drug,
but of the combination. I think pharmacists are likely to be the
professionals who have experience in this area.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes to all for a more peaceful and less bloodstained new year than
those of the recent past.

Magda
