Pat,
Is that the book about the history of LLL? Can you tell me how it ends? Somewhere near the end of the book, is the setting a "modern" LLL meeting? Someone told me that a meeting at my house years ago was going to be the setting for part of a book about LLL, but I never saw it.
Amy
The book mentions that " they cooked and cleaned, ironed their husband's
shirts, hung the bed sheets on a clothesline to dry, prepared most meals
from scratch, wore pearl necklaces and white gloves, volunteered in their
churches, schools and communities and among them raised a total of 56
children."
