The only thing you didnt mention in your post was whether or not you
were on pain medication. With the recent scare over vicodin, I always
inquire if mom reports a lethargic, hard to arouse baby.

linda,
no pain medications of any kind - he was born at home and i don't think my
mw can prescribe vicodin. ;-)
besides which i have no pain to need any meds for -i feel wonderful after
giving birth, it's so nice not to be pregnant any more!
thanks everyone for your suggestions and replies - my plan of action is to
try and pump and see how much exactly he takes in for a day that way and
contact our hosp LC to see if she can see us. the ped and i both checked his suck
and palate and tongue and think it's all fine, but having an LC evaluate can
only be helpful at this point ! thanks again for all the help !
