I cannot remember exactly the ages of the children you are teaching, but I believe it was 
middle school.  I have gone into both middle school and high school classes. I ask for 
questions (assuming that this is part of the curriculum) and often get them before I go in.  I 
talk about the normal-ness of breastfeeding.   I ask what they know, and whether they have 
ever seen a baby at breast (many have not, but some have infant siblings or cousins.  At 
least one will know that breastfeeding hurts).  My message is that breastfeeding is normal, 
best for mom and baby, and should not hurt, and if there are problems, there are lots of 
places to get help. I try to keep it simple.  With high school students, I might take in some 
"facts on breastfeeding" (LLL does a sheet every year) or other handouts that the teacher 
can incorporate into the final exam.
I really enjoy doing this, and have always been well received.  I hope you have as much fun 
as I do.
