  The most readily available & easiest way to increase a mother's milk is to have the baby nurse often - you could have mom "wear" baby during the day, so breasts are readily available & she can see those early feeding cues (small body movements, sucking motions, even REM stage sleep she can latch him on).  Then @ night have the baby as close to the mother as she feels comfortable, having the breasts readily available at night, as well.  There are also other suggestions (too many to mention quickly) - I'm unsure exactly what else to tell you without knowing the situation.  Have others if you need!! As others do to, I'm certain!
