Just to clarify. None of the pump companies under discussion are
publicly traded and have shareholders. All are privately owned.
Speaking strictly for Ameda, did you see the poster we offered from the
photo in the Attachments catalogue "In the Garden"? It shows the
bonding you mention between mother and baby (with eyes open).
I agree with you that our images should reflect the emotional side of
breastfeeding, too. In fact, when I helped to create the new latch-on
video for ameda.com, I insisted that even in its animated sequences that
the baby's eyes be open and looking up at the mother.
