Sterilising bottles and teats is recommended for at least the first 12
months of the baby's life in the UK, after each and every use. Sippy
cups etc, need not be sterilised after six months but should still be
washed out thoroughly.

I'm just utterly bemused (and a bit shocked) that this isn't standard
