I worked for five years as the lactation consultant for Hollister. Last
month its Ameda Breastfeeding Products business was purchased by
Evenflo, which as many Lactnetters know is in the process of becoming
WHO Code compliant with the help of Marsha Walker in her role as
Executive Director of the National Alliance for Breastfeeding Advocacy
(NABA) . We are also in the process--with Marsha's help--of improving
the quality of the Evenflo pumps. (Hooray!)
Lansinoh has *not* been purchased by Hollister. And Hollister is now
completely out of the mother-baby and breastfeeding business.
