I thought the same thing, Robin, that what must have been said was
about suctioning the meconium before it got past the vocal cords. I am not a
practicing nicu nurse now, but just because there is meconium, one doesn't
automatically suction, right? Vigorous infants are not suctioned, I thought.
I wasn't there, however, obviously.
On an aside, has anyone used Rosetta Stone program to learn a language? And
how effective do you rate it? I wish to learn more Spanish. Many of my
clients are from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico. You may email me privately
