I second CWG's comment about not trying to change someone's mind.  Frankly, I think it is 
disrespectful of another adult to try to convince her to do something she doesn't want to do.  
However, I would-nicely-ask why she doesn't consider it an option.  I do that all the time.  
And you might be quite surprised by the answer.  I believe it is not really very nice to try to 
convince her otherwise, but you certainly can offer her facts/help based on her answer.
I work in a hospital, with all the challeges that come with hospital work.  But by the time 
the mother has had her baby and is in her room, it is not my job to try to change her mind 
if she is comfortable and settled in her decision.  She has a right to feed her baby whatever 
and however she likes. (we had one mother bring in raw goat's milk)  It's her baby.   My 
job is to help her with breastfeeding.
