"Let's seize this as an opportunity to showcase the Code to the public and
to health care providers (who could use a dose of the Code)."

'Amen' to Marsha. Thank you. This 'animal' (the bottle feeding of formula
animal) is HUGE in the US!. However, even in my little corner of the world,
I have always looked at 'changing culture' in baby steps. The US has much
to culture to change, much work to do and it must be done
baby-step-by-baby-step in a kind way, IMHO. I have seen lots of change here
in my hospital moving at this slow, hospitable pace. I found, first you
make rapport (by being kind and hospitable), then you inform, then suggest
change, you show it works, and support with kindness, and you make some, and
you break some. It's a baby-step process.....It does drive you crazy
sometimes, but it is the way of change.......With this new attitude from
Evenflo, we need to applaud their efforts, loudly. Continue to show them
(Marsha's work), watch carefully, hold them to the standards and start the
momentum to encourage (or stronger) other companies to do the same.
Seize the moment! Let's run with it! Betsy
