Awww, come on, Lisa. The first thing that needs to happen is that the WIC program needs to be moved to the Dept of Health. As long as it's in the Dept of Agriculture, there's a conflict of interest.
Gotta' keep those dairy farmers going!
There are many good people working in WIC who deeply support breastfeeding.
The program itself, though, to me, is inherently flawed because it can't honestly support breastfeeding. It relies on the sale of formula to fund it.
