Anybody watch the live demos of breasts ultrasounded by Donna Ramsey
Geddes? Remember, the ducts in the areolar region dilate with let-down
even when there is no milk to go in them (all stored milk removed by
baby or pump). This would explain the let-down sensation in the
breasts. It was quite fascinating to see. I have seen this demo'd at
least twice in the past few years. The ductal diameter increases, but
different amounts in different women.

Subject: phantom letdown

The letdown is not phantom-the milk letdown happens due to strong
hormonal reactions.
Is anyone compiling these all these events for a historical look through
the ages about what mother's and grandmother's breasts are for-the
survival of the next generation? Someone really needs to do their Phd
on this.
