As part of the discussion on latch. If you have not come across Dr Colson's
Biological Nurturing work, her research based on neuro-behaviours and reflex
behaviours seems to suggest that human babies are naturally prone feeders.
Whilst mothers do not have to lie flat-and for the reasons discussed before
re the latch video it is best that they don't-Lying babies more on mums'
bodies rather than under the breast, or on their sides seems to work best
for most babies.
