Hi to all of you,
I have taken care of a Mom for a extrem engorgement some weeks ago; at the
moment, she still suffers of a very copious milk production;
We thought of pseudoepherine (Thousands thanks to the excellent
Breastfeeding Atlas) but her doctor refuses the prescription - molecule is
considered in "his medical dictionnary" as very harmful for the baby; he
won't change his mind.
As homeopathy is considered, I have no elements except for weaning....
As plants are considered, I have heard also of salge ...
but I have no idea about homeopathie/plants and the prescription (what and
how much per day and how long) in the goal of reducing the milk production
of some thing like 12%
(i am cautious, as I told her: I would hate the fact that she quits her pump
avoiding engorgement/mastitis for taking her pump again in the goal of
increasing her milk production);
If one of you could help me,
Thanks in advance, and
Breast regards,
Françoise Coudray
