Hello , first posted this message privately to Debby and she encouraged me
to post to the list.
Hi , I am too shy to write to the list.
But I wanted to let you know that in Russia fresh / warm from the cow / raw
milk
was considered healing , healthy food. My parents made a tremendous effort
to get it for us kids , it was so expensive , that it was sold by the glass.
Here in America me and my husband discovered that that we were sensitive
to pasteurized , homogenized milk. Most of the milk sold in Russia 15 years
ago was row and you were supposed to
boil it yourself.
All of my 5 kids go first thru a super sensitive faze and by about 5-6 years
they are just sensitive. We lived on the dairy farm for 2.5 years and coud
not buy the milk there because the farmer did not have a license to sell raw
milk , also do not start me on the treatment and feeding of cows , and that
farm was a lot better then the norm because it made kosher milk -that is
what we were doing there.-making shure it was kosher.
Instead every day , expert Saturday / my Sabbath / and Sunday / Theyr
Sabbath / I went to the Amish where I got fresh raw milk. From caws and
goats. The Amish had a licence , for which the cows has to be tested for TB
and other infectious desises. Never had a problem. The kids who grew up
drinking this milk are healthier then my younger ones. Now we get raw goat
milk from a friend. Unfortunatelly it has to be frozen. It is safe to drink
without boiling as long as one keeps cups one drinks from very clean. A
friend who could not fully breastfeed due to hormonal problems / she
produced very , very little milk despite a lot of effort / has given it to
her baby from 6 month old. The baby was a lot happier than on formula.
The pasteurisation and homogenization of milk alter its chemical
composition , I believe it is harmful to most humans.
Sorry for a long letter.
