Subject: great title
I am inspired to add another term because I really feel like a dinosaur for
even suggesting that one can birth spontaneously, without medication, and
both the mother and the baby will be fine. Most of the current obstetrical
staff don't believe it is possible.

Nikki - I need to share with you what happened when my daughter, Louise,
gave birth in a NY City hospital. One of the RNs told me, in a very
positive way, that she had never before seen such a beautiful birth - no
drugs, and no separation of mother and baby. The RN "pulled strings" to
help keep my granddaughter out of the nursery, which was against hospital
policy. It can be done if women are informed that it is their right and
responsibility. I almost started WW III when another RN tried to snatch the
baby out of my daughter's arms.
Warm regards,
Lee
