Permission to post - Client is eight months pregnant and wants to
desperately breastfeed -- doctors want her to deliver (on time) and right after do a
mammogram -- of course they do not want her to breastfeed at all. Here is her
story:
<<<< I have 1 breast that is leaking blood (nipple), and 1 breast that has a
"mass" discovered in a Sonogram. The Doctor wants me to schedule a
Mammogram, a needle biopsy on my right breast and a test where they integrate a liquid
in to the duct of my left breast and take pictures of the effects to the
duct. >>>>
Of course we are hoping it is nothing at all -- BTW she has no pain. I
recommended a breast scan (Infraredsciences.com) and a biopsy, so far. I am
thinking it may be nothing but a rusty pipe and a clogged duct already - I am not
sure if it is palpable or not. Not sure if a mammography is worth it or even
good for the fetus before delivery - at eight months might no be such an
issue.
Any info is appreciated.
