Hi Catherine,

While I never noticed any odor, my breasts continued to produce a
yellowish-white cheesy substance for many years after my children weaned. In
fact even today (I am 55 and post-menopause) there is sometimes a little bit
of this in the nipple pores.  My thought is that it is some combination of
milk components, epithelial cells and whatever other debris builds up in the
old milk ducts over time.
