apparently, eyesight changes are limited to the first period of breastfeeding
and are reversible.
unless firm supporters of breastfeeding, doctor usually reccomend weaning.
the thing is, breastfeeding will give the baby a better eyesight...
if there isn't any medical problem (like the pituitary tumor hypothesis raised in
another post) and the mother can function without risk for her or her family, i
would say she can be reassured and procede with breastfeeding.
