A standard US (twelve oz) can of coca cola contains 155 calories.
Adults need about 14 to 20 times their body weight in lbs per day in
calories, depending on their activity level.
So, taking an "average" weight of 180 lb (usually used for drug dosage
calculations, so doctors are familiar with it) in a moderately active
adult, 17 x 180 = 3060 calories. (That seems high, doesn't it?)
It would take almost 20 cans of coca cola to fulfill those calories.
So, leaving 8 hours for sleep, that would leave 20 cans to consume in 16
hours.
You can ask people if they would be more comfortable taking a can every
48 minutes, or 5 cans all at once and then not eating anything else for
4 hours. (Those 5 cans would be about 1.75 L)
