Hi Emily,
I was interested to notice where you're located. I believe Merced has the
largest population of Hmong in the U.S., right?
And I believe my location (Minneapolis/St.Paul) is second or third.
When you're looking for written materials, you might want to keep in mind that
written Hmong is a recent phenomenon. A lot of those who are native Hmong-
speaking aren't literate in Hmong. If they've been in the U.S. school system
(or have family members who speak English) they'll often prefer materials in
English even if they're not completely fluent in English.
You could try contacting the WIC program in Ramsey County MN (that's St.
Paul) to see if they have anything. They serve the majority of MN's Hmong
WIC participants.
