On p. 29 of their Breastfeeding Guide (which has a few issues as well) it
shows a large photo in full color of an older baby (wearing a tie and collar
dress shirt) sitting holding a baby bottle.
It is disconcerting click on the BIG heading FEEDING and go directly to a
page entitled Feed with Evenflo even though at the bottom it is a blurb in tiny
letters on breastfeeding. I didn't expect to see products under the feeding
heading. On this page the first item is a breast pump and then all the other
feeding paraphernalia. Under the High Chairs it mentions a tray that has
spots for baby food jars as well.
Hmmmm. You have to click on Parent Resources to get to FEEDING information.
As I was exploring the site I noticed two (nothing to do with compliance)
"slips" right off.
Under Parenting Resources Articles and Tips Month 1 how the Baby's Body is
Growing this is how it is worded: "The average baby weighs between 6 and 9
pounds, but surprisingly seems to gain no weight during the first week. This is
normal – baby has just lost his birth weight. He’ll gain it back by the
second week." I *hope* they don't get down to zero pounds/kilos!! ;-)
And in the Breastfeeding Guide they spelled the nickname for refrigerator
"fridge" as frige - which google doesn't recognize ;-) and neither does my spell
checker.
I suppose I can use the Contact Us at the bottom of the page to write to
them about those last two issues.
