Dear Sharon,
This is the first that I have seen someone actually write this
up. It is hard to have a mom change from Wellbutrin because often they
have tried other antideppressants and are very reluctant to go to
another one. Thank you for forwarding this.

Hey all,
Wellbutrin (buproprion) is a dopamine agonist, and therefore a prolactin
antagonist. Decreased prolactin levels may be a reasonable explanation
for the decreased milk supply, and could happen no matter what the age
of the child.
