Darn!

I should *NOT* have been reading that drivel while I was eating my breakfast;
now I have indigestion!!

I must admit, I try to avoid these issues as much as a I can. I don't know
how other LC's and lactation professionals do it, but I myself find it difficult to
be on top of advocacy and lobbying at the same time as working with
mothers. The former just takes so much of my time and energy and keeps me
awake at night!

Though I think that there is tremendous value in committees, campaigns, and
media, I also think that the real issue is simply to empower women to
breastfeed. If we do that, THEY will know this stuff is drivel, too.

Thoughts?
