The only things I have heard from my childrens' VERY pro-BF pediatrician that might need to be supplimented are:
Iron in later months, but only if the baby is very anemic (one of mine was, one wasn't)
Vitamin D, MAYBE, but since my kiddos are very fair skinned, we live in Southern California, and we are outside a lot, it was never even mentioned by the ped until I brought it up out of curiosity. Our ped said that perhaps that the Vitamin D issue is more due to a lack of sun exposure than a "defecit" in breastmilk. In the past, there was no sunscreen, so even incidental exposure to the sun would provide enough Vitamin D for a growing babe.
Kellie Whitney (with 2 healthy kiddos who never got "vitamin drops" except for the anemic one, and he reached 30 pounds at 9 months on breastmilk and the occasional veggie or fruit)
