the difference between 28 and 40 ounces is quite a bit of a

Dear Friends:
Kent et al reported that women make between 440 to 1220 grams in 24
hours. (Also quite a bit of a range!) All their babies thrived. ("Breast volume and
milk production during extended lactation in women" Exp. Physiology 1999;
84: 435.)
How could anyone even imagine trying to find the exact amounts a baby
"should" take at a feed?
