I must respond to this by saying that I have reaped the great benefits of Rachel's
snobbery, having eaten two delightful, fresh, healthy, YUMMY meals at her home when
we visited Norway in May. In fact, our time in Norway, capped by our breakfast
featuring Rachel's fabulous homemade bread, motivated me to eschew packaged,
processed, prepared, and preserved foods to the greatest extent possible. Interestingly,
the more seemingly decadent stuff I cook and bake from scratch at home, the better I
feel and the thinner I am.
To bring this back on topic (ha, ha), I heartily agree that when one adopts this mindset,
avoiding Nestle (and other multi-national "food" corporations) is no trouble at all.
