"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I'm sure one can make arguments for and
against one-sided and two-sided tandem nursing. I believe we have discussed
the pros/cons before. If your children have thrived on your particular
"system," then I don't see why you would want to change it. Your friend can
consider the pros/cons of either way and it might just evolve a way
different than she herself plans, once the baby comes.
A lactation text may tell whether antibodies are higher in foremilk vs
hindmilk, but I think for folks that breastfeed longterm and practice
exclusive breastfeeding in the early months, this is a moot point.

On another note, I've changed my email address for lactnet to see if my
posts are now readable and without annoying symbols. My personal email
remains [log in to unmask] but I plan to check and read lactnet
regularly, as I usually do.
