If ever there was a reason (as an American) to join ILCA, this should
trigger it. You automatically become a member of USLCA (U.S. Lactation Consultant
Assn), and they just launched their group professional liability insurance.
Rather thant $1200 per year as a private practiioner, you pay
something like $120. Go to http://www.ilca.org/uslca/index.html and click
the button along the top for Liability Insurance.
Liz,
Thank you! I couldn't get this to work for me from the initial ILCA
enewsletter piece on it, and emailed ILCA weeks ago and never got a reply of
any kind. Lactnet comes through again. For some reason my Adobe 7 won't open
it, and there is some update, but hopefully this will work. Are there really
people who have to pay 1200 US dollars? Wow, and I thought my other liability
was high...
Thank you, thank you,
Peace,
Judy
