Boy, Pam, if you can get the mothers to stand up and assume the role of 
team leader, you will have done something amazing. It really saddens me to 
see the way some parents give up all their power to physicians and others in 
similar roles.  

This goes back to empowering all people and that is a learned life skill: not 
just something they learn for a few weeks in childbirth class.
