The "babymoon" is a period of time just like a honeymoon, when the new 
couple - in this case the mother and child - are given plenty of time to be 
alone,  falling deeper in love with each other as they spend time together. 
The new couple's privacy is respected and few demands are made upon them in 
the early weeks while they adjust their lives to incorporate each others 
needs and desires into their own lives.


Traditionally the honeymoon was a full month - a full cycle of the moon.
