Me: I am so sorry that someone made you feel like that. I am a LLL leader
and have worked full-time while breastfeeding. You're right. That
perspective is an asset. Especially now when most mothers work. I think it
may not be so much of LLL's philosophy as one leaders opinion that you
unfortunately encountered. You may just need to find a more open-minded
leader to sponsor you. I encourage you to try again:)
On another topic, someone mentioned a teddy bear propping up their bottle....
Just now on Rachael Ray, they had a guest showing off all the wonderful new
gadjets in absent parenting, one of which was a teddy bear that lays on the
baby's chest holding a bottle in it's arms to feed the baby!
