Sorry this is rushed. But I noticed this while between patients. I had a
patient that I followed for the first 2 years that had a trach from 6
weeks of age for tracheal malasia and then also ended up having
malrotation of the intestines found at 9 months of age when he got a
Gtube with the surgery to correct the malrotation. He was exclusively
breastfed (at the breast) until he was able to take solids at sometime
older than 6 months of age. I am good friends with the family now,
thanks to our time together. And the baby is now 5 years old. No more
trach or GTube and fit as a fiddle. You are welcome to email me
privately to discuss further.
