Jennifer Tow mentioned tongue tie, which I completely and inexplicably
forgot to mention in my long-winded post just now, but I certainly agree
that this should be looked into, by someone with experience in diagnosing
and treating tongue tie. There could also be some palatal anomaly, both in
the shape of the palate and in its patency, such as a submucosal cleft. CST
could definitely be beneficial here, once these other things have been ruled
out.
