It is my strong opinion that wherever possible, moms should be using 
organic herbs in a whole or cut and sifted form, such that they are 
actually recognizable as themselves, rather than a mysterious powder in 
a capsule.  My favorite organic herb company sells an inexpensive 
capsule filler, so that a person could grind the herbs or seeds in a 
coffee grinder and put them into caps herself.  Better yet, have a 
visitor or friend do it, if we're talking about a mom who has a new 
baby to take care of.

There have been enough anecdotal reports of "fenugreek" caps from 
particular retail stores actually causing a milk supply to crash, that 
I no longer mention caps as the first option.
