CT scan has lower resolution, and might not pick up a microadenoma of
the pituitary, which is the most common cause of elevated prolactin and
galactorrhea. The treatment is a medication that blocks prolactin, such
as bromocriptine.
Holding babies should push up her oxytocin, not her prolactin.
